01. How did you get into hardcore? What was the first hardcore show you attended? And the first record that you bought?
Tony: i got into hardcore at the age of 13, some of my friends were in hardcore bands and i like the energy of the music. my first show was agnostic front in 86.first record i bought, wow, i gotta think?....maybe cro-mags age of quarell???
02. Straight-Edge: what it means and what it meant to you?
Tony: well sxe, means no drinking or drugs, but its different for everyone, to me its not doing drugs or drinking, staying away from that shit...staying clean... what it meant was a clean lifestyle of not doing drugs or drinking, now its fuckin weak, its a fashion statement, whos cooler than the next kid.
03. Tell me about OLC, the crew, the lyrics, the attitude, the shows.
Tony: olc the crew, well it first started as a crew when i played drums in integrity, that was our sxe crew, pretty violent back in the day, hitting kids that smoke or drink.then me and the singer of confront started olc, we signed a deal with victory before we even had a song done, tony brummel "was" our friend back in the day...the lyrics are steves so i cant even go there, but, there h8 edge as you can hear.the attitude was family-friendship-and loyalty, to our crew. the shows, well lets see.....hard ass dancing, tons of sing alongs, violent pits, just pure ass hardness....
04. Why did Victory Records drop you out?
Tony: victory let us go because he was getting letters and emails saying we are racist???? wtf, how can you be a nazi when the singer is jewish, hahahaha, get a life hippies, olc is not a racist band, but a militant h8 edge unit.he then played it out like we werent friends, a spineless faggot move on the lable that once praised you, then like every other person, turning your back on the band.....
05. Rumour has it that another reason why victory dropped olc was because allegedly you printed some Earth Crisis 7" with some images of hitler and the ss, true or false?
Tony: hahahahahaha, totally false, but a good one, and i hear alot of shit about us, hahahahaha
Tony: the fest, aahhhhh, me and mean steve got hired to do security, all day peoiple would say to us, pleeeease do 1 song, we said no, but after the integruty set we said, ok we will do one song, we started to play the 1000 kids fuckin went ape shit, this one kid from the audience goes onstage and sez to mean steves face fuck you, steve chased him offstage with our crew of about 25 people and started beatin the shit out of him and anyone else that jumped in......that kid started it....plain and simple
07. American Justice: what was the main goal of this record? can you tell us about the rap tracks on the album, with Shady Shade, who was he and how did OLC came up with the idea of doing this collaboration?
Tony: we love rap, shady was our homie, our friend.the whole record was like a movie, with skits and hardcore songs, it focused on the worlds topics and people didnt like that, they thought it was harsh...whatever, we got our point across, people after 15 years of dropping our first cd, still to this day love olc, so we must have did something right....
08. On this record, there are tracks from Prohibition 2000, who later went to become Pitboss 2000, who were they?
Tony: prohibition2000 was our militant sxe side project, then faggot lockjaw took our songs moved back to gay la and started it there......
09. Why did OLC end? What's your relationship with the rest of the band/crew? Do you still talk/hang out with them?
Tony: olc is still around, we just have other things goin on....we still hang out all the time, its just not a top priority right now.
10. I have to ask you this, what's with the whole Clevo vs NY beef? I heard something about a beef with ezec as well. And tells about the problems with Earth Crisis and Snapcase.
Tony: the beef was with dwid and ezac, then i said some comments back and it evolved into this war, hahaha, whatever. earth crisis are faggots and snapcase are emo nerds, when a hardcore band stops playing real hardcore and changes its style to gay core, i have a problem, sorry.
11. Listening to OLC, one comes across with words such as: nerdario, faggario, jockario, wiggario and so on.. who came up with these?
Tony: mean steve and me, its like our own language, like snoop doggy dogg doin shizzle fo rizzle my nizzle...hahahahah

14. Tell us about your new project, Heavyweight.
Tony: heavyweight is my newest band, i play drums and sing, my buddy tyson plays bass and guitar, like the whole judge thing, its old school hardcore.......the best thing i ever did.....
15. Again with the rumours, i've read somewhere that this year a new OLC record will come out, is this true or a complete nonsense?
Tony: this year it will come out...it will be hard and will come out, stay tuned...
16. There are some rumours about OLC playing some shows this year, is this true? if so will you play in europe?
Tony: maybe finish recording this new cd, then play one show this year in cleveland...
17. When are you gonna finish the record? any idea?
Tony: end of june it will be done.
18. Has heavyweight put out any records? Only having two members, how does this work live, who fills in the gaps? and how about tours?
Tony: yes one ep 5 brutal hxc songs, we have fillers for shows, did one tour with terror, olc,and first blood, a 5 day fest tour i put on...
19. Is it your jobs, that take all your time and is that the reason why OLC has been on pause? What do you guys do for a living?
20. About lockjaw, is he still in the band, i'm asking this 'cause you said he moved to L.A., how does this work for you guys?
Tony: no he isnt, he moved years ago, havent tallked to him in forever....
21. What was the best and the worst show you played with OLC and why?
Tony: they were all great...sorry, when you put on a good show, the crowd will go off, so none.
22. What can you tell me about confront? i understand you worked as a roadie for them. How were the shows back then?
Tony: yeah i roadied, they toured with old bands like youth of today,uniform choice, a.f., they were my boyz so i entered sxe , thanks to them.
23. Without lockjaw, who's filling in for him in the recordings and live? If you guys do a show, will he play or will he be invited to play? Is there any particular reason why you guys don't talk in a long time?
Tony: our buddy tony d plays bass for us, he moved on bad terms, and no he wont ever play with us...ever.
24. Any funny story about OLC, any show or tour you did that you want to share?
Tony: they were always good, this one time in pennsylvania we got this girl totally naked in our van and threw her out in the snow naked and put her cloths down the street......"well its sorta funny"...groupies?????hahahaha
25. Is there anything you want to say to the people reading this?
Tony: yeah, wait til the cd drops, harder stronger faster....hollaaaaaa, and thanks to the olc fans worldwide for still reppin us after 15 years....we do love you guyz......
